Marshall will challenge Cedar Ridge on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Marshall suffered a grim 26-54 defeat to Mountainburg last Friday. Marshall's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Hayden Blair, who rushed for 121 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 8-44, which was the final score in Cedar Ridge's tilt against Mountain View.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
