Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bristol couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell  8-5 to the Williams Valley Vikings on Thursday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.
  Peyton McClain and  Grace Boyle stepped up to the plate in a big way.  McClain  went 3-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI, while  Boyle  went 2-for-3 with two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Cayleigh Januszka, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
Bristol's loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Williams Valley, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record  this season.
