River Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Halle Snyder, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. Madi Ward was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
River Valley now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Pleasant, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.
River Valley will head out on the road to challenge Marion Harding at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Marion Harding will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 590th, while River Valley is ranked 289th). As for Pleasant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clear Fork at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
