Massing is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tanner Mihalko, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Clymer Central's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Maple Grove, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clymer Central will challenge Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Westfield's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Maple Grove, they will head out on the road to face off against Brocton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Brocton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
