Basketball Recap: Prep Student Academic Training Academy National Takes a Loss

Prep Student Academic Training Academy National lost against Marian back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Prep Student Academic Training Academy National Panthers took a hard 76-62 fall against the Marian Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ehud Tesfaye, who posted 13 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Weatherspoon, who had 16 points.

Prep Student Academic Training Academy National's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marian, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Prep Student Academic Training Academy National is headed away from home for the first time to square off against iSchool of Lewisville at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Marian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-39 win against Lutheran South Academy on the 27th.
