The Roosevelt Rough Riders will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on the Atascadero Greyhounds  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Roosevelt will be strutting in after a  victory while Atascadero will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Roosevelt is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Corcoran. Roosevelt enjoyed a cozy  28-14 win over Corcoran last Friday.
  Dominick Gonzalez had a dynamite game for Roosevelt, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also picking up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown. Gonzalez got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of63 yards. Another player making a difference was  Cj Barker, who threw for 156 yards and a touchdown on only 14 passes.
 Meanwhile, Atascadero couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took  a  28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of North on Friday.
