There's no place like home for Hillside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against North Star Academy on Thursday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 13 runs or more this season.

Hillside's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Star Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Hillside will host Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.85 runs per game on average), something the Comets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North Star Academy, they will face off against University at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. North Star Academy are facing the Phoenix at the right time seeing as the Phoenix are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
