There's no place like home for Shenango, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the New Brighton Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Shenango got a big performance out of Joey Campoli, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Patton, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Shenango hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Brighton struck out ten times.

Shenango's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for New Brighton, they moved to 6-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Shenango wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Neshannock on the 22nd. As for New Brighton, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Freedom Area on the 17th.
