Ticonderoga put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Moriah Vikings with a sharp 19-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sentinels, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Myleigh Drinkwine's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Sophia Johndrow was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Munson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.
Ticonderoga was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .476 or higher in three consecutive matches.
