El Campo and Navasota are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The El Campo Ricebirds will be playing in front of their home fans against the Navasota Rattlers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. El Campo has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three contests.
Last Tuesday, El Campo strolled past Bellville with points to spare, taking the game 70-52.
Meanwhile, Navasota came up short against Wharton on Tuesday and fell 59-50. Navasota has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Campo's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Navasota, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
El Campo was able to grind out a solid victory over Navasota in their previous matchup on January 2nd, winning 49-42. Will El Campo repeat their success, or does Navasota have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
