It was all tied up at the half for Julian and West Shores last Friday, but Julian stepped up in the second half. Julian were able to grind out a solid victory over West Shores, winning 29-22. No one put up better numbers for Julian than senior Shane Cranfield, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 100 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian Academy came into their this week averaging 49.25 points per game, but Calvary Christian Academy fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a serious blow against Foothills Christian, falling 0-68. The low total for Calvary Christian Academy limited their streak of high-flying scores to 4 in a row.
Julian's win lifted them to 2-4 while Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped them down to 4-1. We'll find out if Julian can add another positive mark to their record or if Calvary Christian Academy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Julian's step.
