Mccormick Posts Huge Game in 56-12 Victory
Starting off the list is New Bern's Terrance Mccormick, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mccormick threw for 249 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes.
Mccormick and New Bern will square off against J.H. Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mccormick will face off against Jimmy Martin, the Rampants' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Havelock Gets a Boost from Sharpe in 21-14 Win
Lebron Sharpe put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jacksonville's probably not too fond of Sharpe given he always seems to get the better of them. When Sharpe last faced the Cardinals back in October of 2023, he rushed for 257 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per carry.

Karvin Magwood Makes It Two for New Bern
Another New Bern player making an appearance on this list is Karvin Magwood. He rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Magwood must have Northside - Jacksonville's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Magwood saw the Monarchs), he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Christian Holley was a major factor in D.H. Conley's victory over J.H. Rose on Friday. J.H. Rose had no answer to Holley as he picked up 139 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Holley has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 85.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 50.86 receiving yards per game.
