Andrews Academy came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 43-35 victory over Spring Valley Academy.
Andrews Academy had a senior duo take command as Braden Keyes scored 15 points and Josh Loenser scored four points along with eight steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Keyes has scored all season.
Andrews Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Spring Valley Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Andrews Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tournament Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Spring Valley Academy, they will square off against Miami Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami Valley will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
