While Lompoc didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Valley Christian Academy Lions 75-37. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Valley Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Lompoc and Nipomo will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Lompoc is facing Nipomo at the right time seeing as Nipomo is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
