Chariho came out on top against North Providence on Monday thanks in part to Landon Sumner's efforts. Sumner was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Chariho is 9-3 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.
