Bessemer Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fort Dale Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bessemer Academy Rebels put the hurt on the Fort Dale Academy Eagles with a sharp 12-5 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bessemer Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Fort Dale Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Bessemer Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Coosa Valley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 3rd. As for Fort Dale Academy, they will square off against Crenshaw Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Crenshaw Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Fort Dale Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
