In what's become a running theme this season, the Perry Commodores gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past North Baltimore 56-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Perry has posted since December 9, 2023.
Zyasija Scott continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Tyanah Gordan was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
North Baltimore lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mackenna Ducat, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two blocks. Ducat has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Cotterman, who scored seven points along with two steals and two blocks.
Perry is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for North Baltimore, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
