There's no place like home for Grapevine, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Boswell Pioneers on Tuesday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Grapevine had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Maribel Longspaugh and Emma Stuhr certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Longspaugh had 18 digs and two assists, while Stuhr had 14 assists and nine digs.

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Boswell, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-12.

Coming up, Grapevine will face off against Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boswell, they will challenge Ryan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
