They strolled past Twin Lakes with points to spare, taking the game 59-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lafayette Central Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Lafayette Central Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Albert Schwartz, who scored 8 points along with 9 assists and 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ray Clayton, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals.
Twin Lakes' loss came despite strong showings from Keaton Miller and Bryce Wilhite. Miller scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds, while Wilhite scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Kyser, who scored 6 points.
The victory got Lafayette Central Catholic back to even at 1-1. As for Twin Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Lafayette Central Catholic's road trip will continue as they head out to face Benton Central at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Twin Lakes, they will take on McCutcheon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. McCutcheon is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
