The Seaside Seagulls will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Helens Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Seaside is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Helens in Oregon (Seaside is ranked 46th, while St. Helens is ranked 129th).
Seaside suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Astoria on the road and fell 50-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Seaside has scored all season.
Meanwhile, St. Helens scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Tillamook 67-53.
Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Helens, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Seaside was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Helens in their previous matchup on January 5th, winning 40-29. Will Seaside repeat their success, or does St. Helens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
