Sebastian River found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up seven fewer assists than your opponent.
Sebastian River lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Samiya Adams, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Destiny Pickard, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Lincoln Park Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayla Willette, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. Alexa Titherington was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Sebastian River's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Lincoln Park Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Treasure Coast the next time they take the court. Lincoln Park Academy will head out to face Treasure Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Sebastian River will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
