Rowe has gone 9-1 against McAllen Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will square off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Rowe's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so McAllen Memorial's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
If Rowe beats McAllen Memorial with 11 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Warriors beat Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Alex Leon was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Samuel De La Fuente was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matthew Garza, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Rowe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for McAllen Memorial's offense. They came up short against Sharyland on Friday, falling 9-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost four in a row.
McAllen Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eloy Lozano, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double.
Rowe's record is now 15-8-2. As for McAllen Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rowe has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .437. However, it's not like McAllen Memorial struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Rowe skirted past McAllen Memorial 4-3 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
