Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Guerin should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on Aurora Christian at home at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Guerin, and their matchup last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. They have to be aching after a bruising 13-41 loss to Elmwood Park last Saturday. Guerin were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-34.
Meanwhile, Aurora Christian were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their contest against Bishop McNamara. Aurora Christian ended up on the wrong side of a painful 13-38 walloping at Bishop McNamara's hands. Aurora Christian were down by 13-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
