The Fox Creek Predators's six-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They strolled past Pelion with points to spare, taking the game 46-28. The victory was just what Fox Creek needed coming off of a 73-6 loss in their prior contest.
Fox Creek found their leader in underclassman Maya Kryshtalowych, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Kryshtalowych set a new season high mark in assists with five. Another player making a difference was Jada Jennings, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Fox Creek's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Pelion, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Fox Creek will head out on the road to face off against Batesburg-Leesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Batesburg-Leesville is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. Pelion will take on Strom Thurmond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
