Belmont had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Winchester Red & Black. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Marauders also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Belmont now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Winchester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belmont will venture away from home to square off against Burlington at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Winchester, they will head out to take on Wakefield Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
