A Season-Best Performance from Aaron Silva Leads La Puente over Ganesha
On Friday, La Puente got the W thanks in part to Aaron Silva playing the best football he has all season. Silva rushed for 268 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (117.3) per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Silva is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Bassett on Thursday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Silva saw the Olympians), he picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 75 yards.

Ezekeil Zamora's Big Game Leads La Puente over Ganesha
La Puente picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ezekeil Zamora. Zamora did his part (and then some), rushing for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 137 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Ganesha's probably not too fond of Zamora given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Zamora saw the Giants), he threw for 362 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

Duarte Gets a Boost from Aguirre in 26-12 Victory
Duarte found a leader in Leo Aguirre as the team took down Garey on Friday. Aguirre turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 127 yards on only 14 carries.
Duarte's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Aguirre and Duarte will square off against Workman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Avenn Ortiz Makes It Two for Duarte
Keeping Aguirre company is Avenn Ortiz, a fellow Duarte player. He threw for 146 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 67 yards.

La Puente Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Ivan Lopez
Ivan Lopez was instrumental in extending La Puente's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Lopez as he picked up 56 receiving yards.
