Baseball Recap: Crisp Academy Comes Up Short

Crisp Academy lost against Westwood back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Crisp Academy took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westwood. Crisp Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.

Tucker Ellenberg was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Crisp Academy's record is now 4-7. As for Westwood, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Crisp Academy will challenge Windsor Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. Westwood will be paying especially close attention to Crisp Academy's matchup: after Crisp Academy faces off against Windsor Academy, they'll take on Westwood again at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
