Despite the defeat, Peabody-Burns saw an underclassman step up: Jameson Miles scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Peabody-Burns' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Canton-Galva, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
Peabody-Burns will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gorillas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Solomon presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in Kansas (the Gorillas are ranked 137th, while the Warriors are ranked 353rd). As for Canton-Galva, they will head out on the road to face off against the Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
