The Fatima Comets won the last time they faced the Eldon Mustangs, and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went Fatima's way against Eldon as Fatima made off with a 60-35 win.
Despite the loss, Eldon still got an impressive performance from Sydney Halderman, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. Halderman scored a full 40% of Eldon's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Fatima is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Eldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Fatima has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Owensville at 4:30 p.m. on December 7th. Eldon is on the road again on Thursday and play against Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. Lebanon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Eldon is ranked 120th).
