Meanwhile, Chapman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a hard 59-44 fall against Southeast of Saline.
Wamego's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Chapman, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Wamego lost to the Fighting Irish on the road by a decisive 54-37 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Wamego avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
