Virginia City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matley Kelley out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Kelley hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nanna Lopez, who scored six points along with ten steals and five rebounds.
Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.5 points per game. As for Virginia City, their win bumped their record up to 5-18.
Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage will be playing at home against Pyramid Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pyramid Lake has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 400 points over their last six games. As for Virginia City, they will head out on the road to square off against Sage Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
