It was a proper cat-fight when North Port challenged Cypress Lake on Monday. The North Port Bobcats took their game with ease, bagging a 56-28 victory over the Cypress Lake Panthers. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

North Port got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rhiley Richards out in front who posted 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail McKelvy, who earned four points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

North Port now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Cypress Lake, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

North Port has already played their next matchup, a 65-35 defeat against Gateway Charter on the 28th. As for Cypress Lake, they will take on Island Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
