 At the plate,  Mak Sitarski was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.  Bailey McCalister was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 On Woodhaven's side,  Brooke Taylor made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mia Taylor, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Allen Park pushed their record up to 15-3 with that  win, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Woodhaven, their defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 13-3.
 Allen Park will head out on the road to  challenge  Carlson at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Allen Park knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Carlson likes a good challenge. As for Woodhaven, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Anchor Bay at 5:00  p.m.
