Meanwhile, Ida Crown Jewish Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They snuck past Non Varsity Opponent with a 44-40 win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ida Crown Jewish Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ilana Schwartz, who scored 22 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Schwartz has scored at least a third of Ida Crown Jewish Academy's points. Jordana Zwelling was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Providence-St. Mel's victory bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
