Chantilly hasn't had much luck against Westfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chargers will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Westfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chantilly, who comes in off a win.
Chantilly is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Centreville 17-5 on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Bella Eig was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
