After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garces Memorial, Rosamond was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Foothill Trojans 21-11. The high-scoring effort was just what the Roadrunners needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

What's more, Rico posted two hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Lily Reeder was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
The win snapped Rosamond's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record. As for Foothill, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Coming up, Rosamond will square off against Frazier Mountain at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Foothill, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chavez at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
