Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Allegany). They enjoyed a cozy 46-32 victory over the Galeton Tigers on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Port Allegany's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jarrod Funk, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Funk has scored at least a third of the Gators' points. Another player making a difference was Liam Hawver, who posted 14 points and three steals.
