The Richton Rebels''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They lost to Collins at home by a decisive 28-12 margin. Richton has struggled against Collins recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Dakota Amos rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, B.j Brown rushed for 92 yards.
Collins got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maurio Luvine out in front who picked up 70 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Donte Booth, who rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Richton's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.0 points per game. As for Collins, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
