The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans will take on the Seymour Indians in a tournament on Saturday. In other batting news, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia let Addilynn Tracy and Lucie Dion run wild. Tracy went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, while Dion went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave Tracy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addison Rohn, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Seymour lost 11-3 to Liberty on Thursday.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Seymour, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.
