Oakwood Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Temple Christian Academy 64-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Jeramy Trangmar was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds for Temple Christian Academy. Trangmar is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 13 games he's played. Luke Passetti was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Oakwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Temple Christian Academy, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakwood Christian will face off against Bob Jones Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Temple Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against New Covenant School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
