Russell entered their tilt with Plainville on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by  a  13-3 margin over the Cardinals.  Looking ahead, Russell will face off against Thomas More Prep-Marian on Friday. The Monarchs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Plainville, they will take on Ellsworth on Friday.
