Van Buren was outmatched by Little Rock Christian Academy at home and fell 58-3. Van Buren has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elijah Johnson threw for 63 yards on 14 of 24 attempts. On the ground, Cameron Keller rushed for 93 yards.
Walker White went supernova for Little Rock Christian Academy, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Jackson Ward was another key contributor, rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
Van Buren's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van Buren will face off against Mountain Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Mountain Home is ranked 33rd, while Van Buren is ranked 36th). As for Little Rock Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
