Normandy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Carnahan 44-0. Normandy was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Normandy a 1-0 record and starting Carnahan off at 0-1.
Next week, Normandy take on Central at 1:00 PM. As for Carnahan, they will face of against Hamilton/Warsaw.
