Delano barely beat Orono the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Spartans on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Carter Van Beusekom, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Brody Geislinger was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs.

Delano always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Delano's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-3. As for Orono, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
