Center Moriches had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Southampton Mariners 13-6. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Mariners recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Luke Rebore Costanzo and Joe Hiller did most of the damage at the plate: Rebore Costanzo scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Hiller scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. JT Bonventre was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, Center Moriches will take on Pierson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southampton, they will face off against John Glenn at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
