Timpview extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 8 this week by beating Springville, 48-20. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Timpview took down the Red Devils 48-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Taylor Camp provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Orem beat Maple Mountain. He completed 19 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 29 yards. Camp's favorite target this week was Nolan Gray, who caught seven passes for 153 yards.
Kaden Bramall threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns. He went 16-24 with one interceptions.
Kj Hall was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 158 yards on 22 carries as the Golden Eagles beat the Golden Eagles. Teammate Cole Casper added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.
Orem's Camp and Gray have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Camp has thrown for 2572 yards this season, while Gray has 58 catches for 1089 yards. Hall from Maple Mountain leads the league in rushing with 936 yards.
The marquee game in 4A Region 8 this week will be the clash between Tyler Anderson's team and Timpanogos. The Tigers comes into the matchup ranked 15th in the state, while the Timberwolves ranks 25th.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Orem takes on Timpanogos. The Tigers' offense has racked up 315 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Ed Larson's team has allowed only 112 on the year.
Hall of the Brad Burtenshaw's team is only 64 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
Cary Whittingham's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Springville.
