Cashmere is 3-0 against Quincy since March of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cashmere Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Quincy Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cashmere put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Chelan on the road to the tune of 58-7. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.
Meanwhile, Quincy got themselves on the board against Medical Lake on Friday, but Medical Lake never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cardinals 43-0 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Quincy.
Jayden Richards was a one-man wrecking crew for Quincy as he rushed for 218 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Richards was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
Cashmere's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Cascade and 1-6 College Place (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 44% over those games). As for Quincy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Cashmere against Quincy in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 42-6 victory. Does Cashmere have another victory up their sleeve, or will Quincy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
