Valley waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset Academy Losee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Vikings have won three straight at home, while the Lions won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they will be taking part in a tournament against Desert Oasis at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
