Belleville won against East Side last Thursday with 50 points, and Belleville decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Belleville took the matchup and then some with a 50-0 win over Ferris. Belleville were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Belleville's record up to 3-0. Ferris are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Belleville take on Kearny at 1:00 PM. Belleville will be strutting in after a win while Kearny will be stumbling in from a defeat. Ferris will be staying on the road, facing off against Barringer. Neither Ferris nor Barringer could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
