North Stokes has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 25. They and the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Kason Wyrick was handed one for North Stokes, while Cornerstone Charter got theirs courtesy of Landon Leclerc.

Tyler Pederson and Mitchell Flinchum scored both of North Stokes' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

With that draw, North Stokes' record moves to 2-6-2. As for Cornerstone Charter, they moved theirs to 2-4-4.

North Stokes wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy on the 18th. As for Cornerstone Charter, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Chatham Charter on the 19th.
